During the cold winter months, we need to take steps to protect our pets from elements that could be potentially dangerous for them. It’s a common misbelief that animals, because of their fur, are able to tolerate colder temperatures. But that’s not necessarily true. Pets, especially those that are small, old or thin can be very susceptible to frostbite and hypothermia.
